Singapore Airlines is set to introduce three additional daytime flight services from Colombo, enhancing connectivity between Sri Lanka and Singapore.

Singapore Airlines will launch three new daytime flight services between Colombo and Singapore starting 6 January 2026, further strengthening air connectivity between Sri Lanka and the airline’s global network.

The new daytime flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, enhancing the airline’s existing schedule and providing passengers with greater flexibility and choice when travelling between the two destinations. With the introduction of these services, Singapore Airlines will increase its Colombo–Singapore operations to a total of ten flights per week.

The additional flights will be operated using Singapore Airlines’ modern fleet, including the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. Passengers can continue to enjoy the airline’s renowned onboard experience, featuring award-winning service and advanced in-flight entertainment.

The newly introduced daytime schedule is expected to offer smoother and more convenient connections via Singapore Changi Airport to key destinations across the airline’s extensive route network. This includes improved access to major cities in Australia, China, and the United States, benefiting both business and leisure travellers.

Commenting on the launch, Biren Poh, General Manager Sri Lanka at Singapore Airlines, said the introduction of the daytime service reflects the airline’s long-standing commitment to the Sri Lankan market. He noted that the new flights provide greater scheduling flexibility and enhanced connectivity to major global markets through Singapore, while supporting tourism and trade between Sri Lanka and the rest of the world.

Tickets for the new services are now available for purchase via the Singapore Airlines website and other authorised distribution channels.
